Where do we start?
What to expect
Phone Consult
Discuss your ideas
Let’s chat about your dreams and plans for your property. Tricia listens to your ideas before adding suggestions. This is your oasis and it should be comfortable, beautiful, and functional.
Site visit
Site analysis with the owner
Discuss with you opportunites and constraits for the property. Tricia is on site with the owner to discuss your favorite plants, tree, and shrubs. She also has suggestions for pots, bird baths, and other outdoor amenities.
Concept Plants
Hand drawings and plants
At this stage we are discussing the plant lists, hand drawing plans and perspectives for the site. It takes time to read the research for potential plants for growing conditions, color, and spacing for each property. Proper planning is critical to success. Plan twice, install once.
Design Development
Finalizing the project
Client meeting time. We go over all aspects of the project with you including : plant materials, mulches, hardscapes, outdoor features, and of course trees, shrubs, and plants.
Construction Documents
Documents to contractor
It’s time to find the right landscape contractor for your project. We can work with you to gather quotes and gather contracts. There is some construction sequencing that needs to happen. And, of course the weather will be a factor. It’s about to start taking shape.
Construction Administration
Observation and RFIs
During the construction process, Tricia is still there for you. If your contractor has any questions (RFI – request for information), she can be onsite or available via phone.
Depending on the size of your plant materials, it could take a little time for it to grow into place. This is a critical time for you to maintain the correct watering schedule and maintenance to ensure the best results.
You are on your way to a dreamy, outside oasis.
