We discuss issues with trees, shrubs, and the FFL program. Tricia assists clients with horticulture choices for their property and how to ven diagram. Included are referrals for our vetted vendors. Tricia will follow up for any additional information. It does not include a planting design for the property. Tricia does make recommendations for additional trees and/or shrubs + placement. Concept design prices start at $950.
ISA TREE ARBORIST CONSULTS: TBA
Tricia is a candidate for the Florida Tree Arborist Certification. She will be available to offer tree consults and recommendations for your property. Too many times, trees need to be trimmed and pruned correctly, not removed. Tricia will be available to send a letter of recommendation to your homeowner’s insurance company concerning your tree concerns with professional, science based recommendations.
The State of FL does not have a state licensure board for tree arborist. It’s up to the consumer to be educated and hire the best person for your property. This is a voluntary certification and approved testing to hold an ISA Tree Arborist certification. FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE CERTIFIED
As a professional, Tricia continues her education through CEUs and additional courses so the client has the best, update research and information for your best property. As a Florida Friendly Professional, she has additional resources for your best, lower maintenance yard so that you can enjoy relaxing and entertaining. An additional bonus, a FFL habitats attract beneficial birds and bees for you enjoyment and vegetable gardens.
To become a Florida Friendly certified property for residential or commercial, requires an indepth consultation that includes: irrigation, trees, spaces, native plants, and shrubs. HORTICULTURE CERTIFIED – 2022 / 2028
In Florida, there are no state certificates nor title laws to call oneself a horticulture professional. This is a voluntary certificate and membership. Tricia passed the state approved test and recently renewed it for 26/28 with the required CEUs. This amazing non-profit offers yearly conferences and webinars for CEUs for professionals as well as networking events.
